The Rosenthal Project has provided a great opportunity to utilise the blank space along the laneways and hoarding. Council has created a colourful outdoor gallery for visitors to Birdwood and Rosenthal Laneways to enjoy.
Following an expression of interest process, the Rosenthal Project Community Liaison Group has been established. The group is made up of representatives from the local community, businesses and landowners. The group continues to meet during throughout the Project. If you would like to contact the group regarding an item for discussion at their next meeting, you can email firstname.lastname@example.org.
In 2017 Council held Business Information Sessions for local businesses looking to find out more about the Rosenthal Project construction phase. These sessions also provided the opportunity to meet RDG Insights who provided the opportunity for local businesses to participate in free one-on-one consultations as part of a Council-funded business support program. Council has also run local business breakfast sessions, conducted business surveys and increased activities in its Love Where You Shop campaign. A new Shop Local Gift Card will be launched in 2019 to help support local businesses.m.
Around 25% of the Rosenthal Avenue Car Park was previously used by staff from local businesses. Council has allocated 25 spaces in Sera Street for business parking via a 3 month permit scheme. Sign up to Project Updates to ensure you receive the details before the next draw.
